Caron

Receptionist

Caron welcomes everyone with her warm, caring smile and assuring nature. Caron is an experienced receptionist and administrator and we would not be able to run our practice without her.

She gained many of her skills and knowledge working in executive positions over in the UK and we are so happy she bought her bubbly and friendly personality to Melbourne. Caron manages many of our booking systems and takes on administration roles within the clinic.

Phoebe

Receptionist

Phoebe is a fantastic asset to our team at Ringwood East Vetcare, with her outgoing and friendly nature.

Phoebe is a very versatile employee and works as a receptionist at the practice. She is also very competent in certain veterinary nursing roles and helps the team tremendously where she can.

Shaylee

Head Nurse

Shaylee is the head vet nurse here at Ringwood East Vetcare and has completed her qualification for Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing. She joined our team in October 2019 after working a few years in emergency and general practice at James Cook University vet hospital in far north Queensland. Moving to Melbourne has been a big change especially with adjusting to the cold weather and getting used to city life.

Growing up on acreage with cattle, pigs and dogs has given Shaylee a passion and love for all animals. Dogs are her main interest however since moving here Shaylee gets particularly excited when we have rabbits come into the clinic as being from Queensland she never got to work with them. Her bright personality and welcoming smile are a great asset to the team.

Philipa

Registered Veterinary Nurse

Philipa is our friendly and bubbly vet nurse who joined our team in May 2020. She has a passion for reptiles and was head reptile keeper at Lillydale High School.

Philipa knew she wanted to work in our industry since primary school due to her love of animals and growing up with a German shepherd and 3 cats. After high school, Philipa went on to study her Certificate II in Animal Studies and then Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. In her spare time she enjoys doing cross stitch, 1000 piece puzzles, ballroom dancing, and playing fetch with her cat Mario and his favourite toy puppy.

Natasha

Registered Veterinary Nurse

Natasha joined the Ringwood East Vetcare team in January 2020 after previously working in Emergency and General practice for over a year.  While working with us, Natasha was studying her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing which she completed in December 2020.

Natasha's love for animals began at the age of 5 when she got her first pet kitten, Maggie.  Her passion for animal welfare quickly developed when taking Maggie to the vet for her annual check-ups and once she began watching Veterinary shows such as Harry's Practice and Bondi Vet.  Natasha has a very bright and happy personality, and always looks forward to getting to know new clients and their furry friends.
